This Supplier Management & Sourcing Governance course provides knowledge of what the main concepts of Outsourcing and Sourcing Governance are, and how they can be applied. Best practice shows that implementing and operating a Sourcing Governance/Supplier Management Function will require staff awareness and understanding of the key principles and concepts of outsourcing and sourcing governance. In this course an interactive approach is used combining lecture, discussion and exercises. Our Examination Institute APMG-International has created the Sourcing Governance Foundation certification in conjunction with the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®).
Undertaking the course and successfully passing the examination qualifies an individual for COS-FP (Certified Outsourcing Specialist™ - Foundation Principles) certification from the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®).

This course is aimed at professionals working for both client and service provider organisation in the IT industry involved in outsourcing & supplier Management.
There are no pre-requisites for this course, however it is desirable that students have basic IT literacy and around 2 years IT experience.
The course is delivered in accordance with an accredited course syllabus and certification process. It combines tutorials, practical tests and examination practice.
Delegates will be issued with a course workbook, in-course hand-outs and other relevant material.
The qualification is based on a 60 minute closed-book examination of 40 multiple choice questions. Successful delegates will be awarded the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) recognized Sourcing Governance Foundation Certificate.
