This ITIL MALC (Managing Across the Lifecycle) course brings together the full essence of a Lifecycle approach to service management as documented in the ITIL Service Lifecycle core publications, and consolidates the knowledge gained to-date across the qualification scheme. The course is compulsory for those wishing to gain the ITIL® Expert qualification and is worth 5 credits.

This ITIL MALC (Expert) certification completes the Lifecycle and Capability streams by focusing on the ancillary knowledge required to implement and manage the necessary skills associated with the use of the Lifecycle practices and includes:
Delegates will be issued with a course workbook, in-course hand-outs and other relevant material.
The course completes the ITIL® Capability and Lifecycle qualification programmes, and leads to the ITIL® Expert qualification. Ten (10) multiple choice, gradient-scored questions based upon a single case study, issued in advance, with additional short scenarios to provide additional context for each question. The examination will consist of a complex multiple choice, closed book paper, to be completed within 120 minutes. (Candidates sitting the examination in English and who do not have English as their first language will be allowed 150 minutes to allow use of a dictionary.) The pass mark required is 70% or more.
