To achieve the ITIL Master Qualification the candidate must be able to explain and justify how they selected and individually applied a range of knowledge, principles, methods and techniques from ITIL and supporting management techniques, to achieve desired business outcomes in one or more practical assignments. To this end Fox ITSM has developed a unique ITIL Masters Mentoring Service to assist and guide delegates through the process and enhance their chances of success through a “right first time” approach.
Every ITIL Master candidate will select a unique range of experience to apply, so there is no fixed syllabus with associated Learning Objectives for this specific ITIL qualification. There is also no prescribed training course since the theory being tested will vary depending on the nature of the situation each candidate has chosen to address.
To be eligible for the ITIL Master Qualification, candidates must meet or fulfil the following entry criteria:
A candidate must ensure they have an extensive base of practical ‘hands-on’ ITIL experience to enable them to demonstrate active involvement in implementation of the practices, in order to meet the requirements for the Qualification.
There are 5 stages defined by APM Group in the Masters Qualification process:
Fox ITSM provides Mentoring Services to take you through the 5 stages and these are personally overseen by Mr Ian Clark (Managing Director – Fox ITSM SA).
You will be required to complete an Application Form and send this together with your CV and a copy of your ITIL Expert certificate to us. Fox ITSM and our Examination Institute will then review the application and confirm whether or not your application meets the requirements and will be progressed. If the application meets the requirements, and once payment has been taken, you will be registered on our Examination Institute ITIL Master online portal and login details will be sent to you. You will then be required to submit a Proposal. If you are successful at this stage you will then be required to submit a Work Package. The final stage of the Master scheme consists of an Interview with a panel of assessors. On successful completion of the qualification, our examination institute will send you your ITIL Master Certificate and pin.
